OneGoal Announces Appointment of Michael Stimpfel as Chief Financial Officer

Chicago, Aug. 8, 2024—OneGoal, a Leading organization dedicated to postsecondary advising and success, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Stimpfel as its inaugural Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Michael has a proven track record in financial leadership and strategic management, making him a valuable addition to OneGoal. Before joining OneGoal, he served as the Founding CFO for KIPP North Carolina, overseeing finances, grant management, compliance, and the data team for eight schools across rural and urban North Carolina. In addition to his role at KIPP, Michael serves on the Board of Directors for The Animal Protection Society of Durham and is a founding board member of unCommon Construction, a program that empowers youth through the home-building process.

Michael’s background is rich and varied, with roots in Los Angeles, 14 years in New Orleans, and the past four years in Durham, North Carolina, where he resides with his partner Marianne.

“I am honored to join OneGoal and contribute to the impactful work being done to support postsecondary success for students,” said Michael. “I look forward to collaborating with the talented finance and operations teams and leveraging my experience further to strengthen the organization’s financial health and operational efficiency.”
