OneGoal – Massachusetts welcomes Inez Friedman-Boyce, SVP and General Counsel at HarborOne Bank, to its Advisory Board
Ms. Friedman-Boyce brings deep knowledge and experience with the legal field to the organization as it seeks to close the degree divide across the state.
BOSTON, September 21, 2021 – OneGoal – Massachusetts, an organization dedicated to closing the degree divide in the Commonwealth, has welcomed Inez Friedman-Boyce, General Counsel with HarborOne Bank, to its board of advisors. As a member of the board, Inez will advise OneGoal on strategic growth, resource development, and communication as it seeks to deepen and expand its program across the state.

In her current role, Ms. Friedman-Boyce is responsible for the oversight of all legal matters at HarborOne, including providing strategic legal review and advice; managing corporate governance-related matters, overseeing legal and regulatory compliance in all areas of operation, negotiating strategic and commercial relationships, and handling all manner of disputes.
“I’m excited to be joining this group, and to contribute in every way I can,” Ms. Friedman-Boyce said. “As a first-generation college student from western Massachusetts, I understand how the right support can lead to opportunity and success. I’m delighted to be helping OneGoal bring their mission statewide.”
Ms. Friedman-Boyce is the President, Board Co-Chair, and a long-serving Director of Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR-Boston), a legal engine for racial equity and social justice in Greater Boston and the Gateway Cities of Massachusetts. She has also previously served on the board for the ACLU of Massachusetts.
Before joining HarborOne, Ms. Friedman-Boyce was a Partner at Goodwin Procter, LLP for nearly 15 years, where she practiced securities and complex business litigation. She began her career as an Associate at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP, and she served as a Special Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Friedman-Boyce received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Amherst College and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
